THE CHALLENGE
Lowering groundwater 15 ft. below ground surface for an excavation of approximately 250 ft x 50 ft.
THE SOLUTION
A wellpoint dewatering system was installed surrounding the proposed excavation’s approximately 600 ft. perimeter. Griffin installed 85 wellpoints at approximate spacing of 7 ft. to a depth of 30 ft. One operating and one standby wellpoint pump were utilized for the project.
